Terms and Conditions


Artwork Types
Original Artworks: Unique, handmade pieces without any restrictions regarding technique.
Commissions: Custom pieces requested by individuals or businesses, tailored to specific briefs. Commissions are original works and cannot be replicated or made into prints.
Prints: Reproductions of original artworks using high-resolution images printed on smooth, top-quality paper.

Payments
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept PayPal/Stripe for online orders and bank transfers for commissions.
Are deposits refundable? (Applicable to commissions only)
No, all deposits are non-refundable after 24 hours. If a painting has not been started, part of the deposit may be refunded at the artist’s discretion.

Commissions
A 50% deposit is required to secure a commission. The remaining 50% will be due upon completion, prior to delivery.
By paying the deposit based on an agreed price, the client confirms that they have read and understand Ruth De Norre's Terms and Conditions.
The artist will aim to achieve likeness based on the image and details provided. Photo composing has limitations and may not fully align with the client’s idea, but the artist will endeavour to bring the concept to life to the best of her ability.

Postage & Packaging
Postage and packaging fees will be agreed upon before shipping, based on the parcel size and recipient address.
Shipping options include national and EU delivery as stated at checkout. For deliveries outside Europe, arrangements must be discussed privately with Ruth De Norre.
The artist is not responsible for mis-deliveries, missing deliveries, or damaged parcels.

Can I cancel my order?
Under consumer protection laws, you may cancel your order until it has been shipped. To cancel, email your request to ruthdenorre@unframed-art.one. Once processed, you will receive an email confirming your cancellation.
Where is my order confirmation?
Once an order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email at the address provided.
Can I track the status of my order?
You will be notified by email when your order has been dispatched, including an expected delivery date.

Cancelling Your Order
You may cancel your order until it has been shipped. To cancel, email ruthdenorre@unframed-art.one within 48 hours of purchase. Once processed, you will receive a confirmation email.
Refunds include the full amount, including shipping charges, minus a €75 administration fee.

Orders: Commissions Online (Not applicable to online shop orders)
Can I cancel my order?If the commission is complete (pre-delivery), no refund is provided, and the remaining balance must be paid unless the item is damaged.
If the commission is incomplete, you may cancel the order but must pay 50% of the remaining balance.
To cancel, email your request to ruthdenorre@unframed-art.one, and you will receive confirmation.
Can I amend my order after it has been placed?
Changes may be allowed depending on their scope and may incur additional costs. A brief is required at the start of the commission process. Changes requested mid-process may be declined or result in additional fees.

Refunds
Refunds are only provided for defective or damaged items. Please email ruthdenorre@unframed-art.one within 14 days of purchase, including proof of the defect.


Complaints
For queries or issues regarding your product, email ruthdenorre@unframed-art.one. Images of faults may be requested for assessment.


Deliveries
Shipping costs are based on European destinations. International shipping incurs additional costs.
Artwork delivery may take up to four weeks unless otherwise stated. Express delivery is unavailable.
